  1. This is Harval from WarcraftPets. Not sure if you got my message from the site, but the Enchanted Lantern and Magic Lamp seem to be the enchanting pets Blizzard promised earlier this year. I found these enchant formulas in the MMO Champ database:

    http://db.mmo-champion.com/i/67308/formula-enchanted-lantern/
    http://db.mmo-champion.com/i/67312/formula-magic-lamp/

    I don't have the beta so I can't really check myself to see if they're actually implemented yet. Just thought I would pass it along. Very up-to-date stuff here, very good job!

  2. @Harval - i've checked the enchanting trainer and vendor on the beta and have yet to find the magic lamp or enchanted lantern recipe. it may be a reputation rewarded recipe. also, wowhead is giving some conflicting info on the enchanted lantern. says it requires a simple grinder which is a JC tool so.. ^_^;

    i'm going to hold of on updating these two pets for now since i'd like more information. hopefully more will come with the next patch!

  3. Looks like more information did come. These (?) seem to be the models... for the lantern anyway... does this mean the enchanting pet is different depending on your faction? Interesting nevertheless.

  4. a companion pet that changes depending upon your race/faction, that's a first. how cool :D

    i can't wait for some first hand account of how the magic lamp and lantern recipes are obtained. my enchanter's itching for some work :P

  5. Remember the Pet Snail? WHY! =(

    Please don't torture me Blizzard, the snail model is so cute. Please don't let this poor little baby languish on the PTR files... also, in addition to the Baby Shark you mentioned there are the turtles and one specific one called Baby Coralshell Turtle. I'm pretty much the same, I know all those Misfit Island pets by heart and it makes me sad they can't be obtained in the game. White Tiger Cub, Alarming Clockbot... mounts never get left on the game files and unused and it's maddening they do it to pets!
