Locations of Pandaren Spirit Tamers

Here's a list of where to find all the new tamers, because I had trouble finding the Spirit Tamers after completing the initial quest. Damn you quest tracker/marker! I've come to rely on you so much. :P

Thundering Pandaren Spirit (earth) - Vale of Eternal Blossoms (north of Mogu'shan Palace, in the hills)

Burning Pandaren Spirit (fire) - Townlong Steppes (west of Fire Camp Osul, on the overlook on the coast)

Flowing Pandaren Spirit (water) - Dread Wastes (far south east, the little peninsula jutting out into the water that separates Dread Wastes from Krasarang Wilds)

Whispering Pandaren Spirit (air) - Jade Forest (south of Honeydew Village, north and across the river from Grookin Hill, on top of a large rock pillar)
For the last location (Jade Forest), it's on top of the mountain formation on the map, a little north of the reddish trees (Tiger's Wood).

Pandaren Spirit Tamer Quest and Daily

UPDATE: Mumper confirmed on Twitter that we will get one choice of elemental spirit from the main quest. After completing it, dailies will unlock for each spirit (air, earth, fire, water) and each Pandaren elemental spirit will have a chance to drop from its daily's bag.

Mumper also mentions that the elemental spirit quest and dailies will only be available "after you finish the last quest on the main pet battle quest line."

So better make sure you have all the initial quests completed come 5.1. ;)

Thanks to a heads up from Goldacc, I've found a possible source for the Pandaren elemental spirit pets (Pandaren Air Spirit, Pandaren Earth Spirit, Pandaren Fire Spirit, Pandaren Water Spirit).

Wowhead has them listed as a reward for a one time quest, Pandaren Spirit Tamer.

There's a catch though: you can only choose one as a reward.

But! Don't panic yet. It looks as though the quest becomes a daily after completing it, and rewards the Sack of Pet Supplies. My guess is that the sack has the chance to drop the remaining Pandaren elemental spirits that you weren't able to pick initially.

At least I very much hope so! It would be devastating if collectors could only obtain one out of the four. :(

Both quest and dailies are account-wide as well, so it's not as if we could hop onto alts, do the main quest again and choose a different elemental reward.

Keep in mind that this is still all in the testing phase and things could change. Data from Wowhead could also be off or inaccurate. We'll have to wait and see how things actually go.

Sidenote: I'm pretty bummed that I can't get onto the PTR to take a look at all of this firsthand. :( *sigh*

Four New Pets Datamined

MMO-Champion datamined more companions from the latest 5.1 PTR patch. Pandaren elemental spirits!
Pandaren Fire Spirit - BoU

Pandaren Air Spirit - BoU

Pandaren Earth Spirit - BoU

Clock'em - BoP
You may be wondering, 'There's fire, spirit, and earth, so where's water?' Well the Pandaren Water Spirit already exists, and only the PTR datamined finds are listed above. The water version was added in patch 5.0.4, but was never released.

But hopefully it will be soon! Along with the other three elemental spirits. :)

It's great to see another mechanical companion possibly coming soon, although I'm half expecting a clone of the Clockwork Gnome. If it's not and the Clock'em pet is a whole new model, then great! If not, then oh well. A new companion is a new companion, and old model or not, it won't stop me from collecting it. ;P

Pandaren Water Spirit

The list of non-wild pets in MoP is nearly complete, but there's one pet that's still lacking details, the Pandaren Water Spirit.

Good news, though! Cory Stockton, aka Mumper, hinted that pet collectors might see this pet in the future. :D
"it’s not for launch. We have some good plans for it in a patch."
Which patch? In what context will this pet show up? How will players obtain it?

Wowhead has it listed as a refundable item with a sell price. Could this indicate some sort of vendor pet? If so, will the vendor require unlocking? There are so many possibilities!

We'll just have to keep playing to see. ;)
