I'm in the middle of the Darkmoon Rabbit encounter. It's 1039 AM and the raid started at 830 AM. Needless to say, I am thoroughly annoyed.
The rabbit evade bugged not once, but three times. If you get feared too far from the cave, it will bug out and reset. Then it becomes unattackable and you have to wait 10 - 30 minutes for it to reset.
On top of that, while waiting for it to reset, disgruntled players keep attacking it to keep it evade bugged. If this isn't griefing, I don't know what is.
This fight is seriously frustrating. It's buggy, easy to grief, and overall not very fun when the majority of the time is spent waiting for it to stop being evade bugged.
I think this is my new ultimate pet peeve. It might even be worse than the holiday loot bag dropped pets lol.
Anyway, I've been waiting for this encounter since midnight, so I'll be damned if I leave now. I'm going to see this rabbit die, even if I have to watch from afar as horde kill it.
Which is quite likely to happen, because honestly? I don't know if this raid can do it.
Edit: Grumpy Quint is grumpy. Finally managed to kill the rabbit at about 1130 AM. So it took 3 hours, but it's dead. No, I didn't win the pet, but there will be a next time. THAT'S A PROMISE, MISTER DARKMOON RABBIT. *insert a bunch of swearing here*
I'm sorry that it was so frustrating for you. I guess we can only hope that come MoP, the little guy will be easier to do with smaller groups. That's my hope anyway lol. Not looking forward to the PVP at ALL!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Did it use the new world boss loot system or the old loot system?
ReplyDelete@Heartfruit: I guess it used the "old" system where you had to be in the raid to be eligible, had one roll and could roll need or greed, etc. One person won the pet while everyone else received nothing except the achievement.
